Flowster Portal, © Flowster Solutions, is a web front-end that permits users to access resources according to their permissions in the following display modes: Portal and Administrator.
The display mode is set after login process as follows:
if the login user is only granted user permissions in Flowster Studio, the website is displayed in User mode, allowing the user access solely to Portal, which predominantly permits the user to visualize, schedule and execute workflows.
if the login user is granted administrator permissions in Flowster Studio, the website is opened in User mode, but allows the user access to both Portal and Administrator by clicking on Administrator button. The administrator mode permits the user to manage workflows, configure workflow parameters and profiles, configure various settings and items. The primary purpose is to prepare workflows for execution.
if the login user is granted user permissions to login on multiple tenant (e.g. user Demo1 is member of a user type security group on two tenants), the website is displayed in User mode and the user is logged in on the Portal of the first accessible tenant. A list of tenants is displayed, allowing the user to switch between tenants.
NOTE: The workflow term refers to a series of sequential tasks that are carried out based on user-defined rules or conditions, to automate the execution of a business process. Workflows are designed in Flowster Designer, managed and configured in Administrator and executed in Portal.
