1.2.4.2. Schedule Recurrent
In order to schedule a workflow to execute recurrently, the user must follow the next steps:
- Go to Workflows tab and click on the icon from the workflow that is to be scheduled
- When the Start Task form opens, fill in the parameters and select Schedule recurrent tab
- Select the scheduling type: minutely, hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or yearly
- Minutely - in the example below, the workflow execution will start on August 1st 2020 at 00:00 AM, the workflow will execute every 5 minutes and will stop after 10 execution
- Hourly - in the example below, the workflow execution will start on 01/08/2020 00:00 AM, the workflow will execute every 8 hours and will stop on 10/08/2020 00:00 AM
- Daily - in the example below, the workflow execution will start on 01/08/2020 18:00 AM, the workflow will execute every day and will never stop
- Weekly - in the example below, the workflow execution will start on 01/08/2020 18:00 AM, the workflow will execute every week from Monday - Friday and will never stop
- Monthly - in the example below, the workflow execution will start on 01/08/2020 00:00 AM, the workflow will execute every month and will stop after 12 occurrences
- Yearly - in the example below, the workflow execution will start on 01/01/2021 08:00 AM, the workflow will execute every year and will stop after 2 occurrences
- Check Fallback option if you wish to ensure the execution of the workflow in case of system failure
- Check Visible by all users if you wish the workflow to be visible for other users
- Click Start workflow
- Go to Scheduled tab. The workflow will be visible in the Repetitive section for the submitter user and depending on the configuration for Visible by all users options, to other users as well.
