Home page is divided into sections matching the operation at hand: Check Out, Execution, Settings, Import, Libraries and Configuration Items.

The Check Out section allows the user to perform Check-Out/Check-In operation to edit and save changes to a workflow. This section will be visible on timestamp selection.

The Execution section allows the user to perform execution operations such as: StartResume, DenyStop workflow execution and Windows Agents selection. This section will be enabled once a timestamp is checked-out.

  • Start button starts the execution of the workflow on the local runtime.
  • Resume button becomes visible when executing activities with Persist state (for example Persist Workflow State, Persist Workflow State Until, Approval, Approval With Values and Wait For More Input activities).
  • Deny button becomes visible when executing approval activities (for example Approval and Approval With Values activities).
  • Stop button stops the execution of the current workflow.
  • Windows Agents list provides the available execution agents for the local (if Execution Agent is installed on the same machine) or remote (if Execution Agent is installed on a different machine) execution of the workflow.

There are also default applications for external editors, like notepad.exe for PowerShellSSHCMD and Other activities that are accepting commands. Quick Binding Filter toggle set to ON will apply a filter to the list of variables/arguments that are displayed to match a property type. Choose Engine at Startup toggle set to ON enables the Engine Selection at startup. Static HTTP Connection toggle set to ON will use a static HTTP connection for requests to Flowster Studio Engine for improved performance.

The Import section contains one button: Import.

The Configuration Items section contains: Refresh Global Variables and Refresh Snippets. When a timestamp is checked-out, two extra configuration items will become visible: Refresh Parameter Groups and Refresh Approval Roles.
